Mount Vesuvius (Monte Vesuvio in Italian) appears as calm tranquil hill from Pompeii. Yet, it's anything but tanquill. It's still a volcano and it is certain to erupt someday - again! It last erupted in 1944 during the world war. It's best for it to erupt sooner rather than later because the later it erupts, the greater will be the damage.
